May 23, 2025 – Quebec’s Pure Carrière returns with “Farfouiller,” an ode to boredom and chaos. The single ignites their creative resurgence culminating with their upcoming album Visions de l’Enfer, out September 19. Anchored in instinct and imperfection, the track leans into clean guitar tones woven with an ensemble of instruments into a singular, delectable sound driven by Reich-inspired rhythms.

 Speaking of the single, Pure Carrière shares: “[The song is] an ode to quiet boredom, to the joy of embracing life in all its chaos and contradictions, to death itself [...] it feels both suffocating and strangely freeing.”

 With a full-scale comeback in the works promising more visuals and more music and led by this first single, Visions De L’Enfer is set to be a major statement from one of Quebec’s most elusive and compelling underground voices.
